So spring is here – what’s up with the weather? Rather than the warmth kicking in right away, it seems like winter is just dragging its feet getting out of here. With the temperatures very slowly increasing and the summer sun barely on the horizon, it’s time to rethink your wardrobe for this awkward transition time.

And what’s the easiest solution? Layering, of course! By pairing multiple pieces together, you can keep yourself looking hot even when the temperatures aren’t still quite there yet. Here is our favorite inspo for spring layering to help get you started.

If you’re like us and dreaming of rocking your favorite springtime frocks already, never fear. You can, totally, pull them off without freezing in the process by simply slipping on a chic fitted sweater, underneath!

Influencer and co-founder of Alliance Apparel (Revolve & Fwrd), Raissa Gerona, does everything right here in our books with her chic turtleneck and leather dress combo. Adding those thigh-high boots to the look, too? Absolutely to die for.

Not ready to turn in your collection of faux furs just yet? Same. Keep it rolling through Spring by using these babies as an easy layering piece to dress up any outfit. Throw it on and go for a chic model-off-duty look that will totally turn heads. It's kind of crazy that the best looks are sometimes the ones that look thrown together and unfinished. Bottom line, do not overthink your "look."

Peruvian influencer Maria fernanda Neyra Brescia does all the right things here with this super cute outfit. We are head over heels for her totally gorgeous simple black fur coat and statement shoes. An oversized sweatshirt, bold bottoms, and sneakers - sign us up for one of each!

Why wear one tee when you can wear two? For these cooler spring months, feel free to layer ‘em up for a super on-trend look that will help keep you toasty warm, too. Try experimenting with color and texture for a super high-fashion feel.

    SOURCE: @micjanee

Take it from influencer Michaela Jane – this look is super easy to pull off and will look totally amazing once you give it a try. The lingerie and high-neck top she’s paired together is exactly what we’ve been dreaming of for spring. Repurposing your basics will, definitely, spruce up your wardrobe. Get creative and have fun with your closet essentials!

Sometimes it’s just good to go for it – and a crop top is definitely what we’re talking about. Forget the cooler temperatures and break out your faves with a nice bulky jacket over it for the ultimate spring transitional combo.

    SOURCE: @natalylorenzo

Really want some style inspo to pull this trend off? Influencer Nataly Lorenzo is definitely our go-to babe. We are totally in love with this gorgeous boho crop top and all denim everything combo – this is definitely on our list for this season. Find an oversized denim jacket at a local boutique or at a larger retailer, such as Zara, Forever 21, Top Shop, etc. The oversized jacket creates the layering look that we're obsessed with, versus a more fitted jacket. I'd, also, suggest a loser pant. Don't feel like you always have to wear a skin tight pant. We promote comfortability over here!

When all else fails, add a super chic long coat! This is the perfect methodology for getting to wear all of your favorite spring dresses (and everything else with a short hemline, too).

You can never go wrong with a chic lace dress for spring, even when the weather isn’t quite cooperating how you’d like just yet. Influencer, Wronika Zalazinksa has the right idea here, adding a super edgy pair of studded ankle boots and a chic and simple long coat. It's amazing how adding just one layer can change the look and feel of your ensemble. Test it out the next time you feel like your outfit is missing something and needs a little sprucing!
