Your customer service process is designed to fail. You stalled my initial, timely request, which created the very problem you then used to deny the return. Hiding behind policy after your own process failed is a complete lack of accountability. This experience is how you turn excited first-time customers into disappointed last-time customers. You need to empower your agents to solve problems, take responsibility when you make a mistake, and prioritize customer retention over rigid rules. Until you do, people should save themselves the headache and buy from a brand that actually values them.
