FIVE SPRING PATTERNS THAT ARE TOTALLY NOT FLORALS
FIVE SPRING PATTERNS
THAT ARE TOTALLY NOT FLORALS
Florals for spring? How groundbreaking. All The Devil Wears Prada jokes aside, we absolutely get that slowly building feeling that spring florals are just so…overdone. Even if we do love getting them out of the back of our closet, wearing them out now that it’s (finally) almost spring is pretty much expected of every girl out there.
Instead of falling into the rut of only wearing florals when the weather changes, try shaking it up with a new pattern. Here are our favorite five patterns for spring that absolutely are not florals.
THE UPDATED PLAID
Wait – what? That’s right, girl. You can totally rock plaid during spring if you style it right. Not just for the fall and winter months anymore, this pattern gets a fresh bright update for Spring 2019 (with a hefty dose of 90’s inspo, too).

Take it from UK blogger India Moon – a matching set and oversized platform booties are the perfect way to get your plaid on come spring. Try looking for a color combo that’s on the bright side, like a mustard yellow or bright green, for a fresh take on this trend.
THE FLIRTY POLKA DOT
You can never go wrong with a great polka dot. Popular back in the early 2000’s thanks to Paris Hilton and her crew, this pattern is making a totally chic comeback this season.

THE FEMININE GINGHAM
We could never fall out of love with this totally gorgeous retro-inspired pattern. This modern iteration involves a smaller, tighter printed pattern with bold detailing and a tailored design.

Influencer Sonia has all the right ideas here with this super chic pair of high-waisted skinny gingham trousers. We love the bold belt detailing and the super flattering paperbag-style waistline on these bad boys!
THE VIVACIOUS ANIMAL PRINT
We’ll admit it – we are beyond excited that the animal print trend is still going strong. This baby is a great choice for spring when you want something bold and sophisticated that will totally have heads turning.

Model and influencer Jamea is totally giving us all the feels in this absolutely gorgeous leopard bodysuit. We would totally rock this with anything in our closets – from a cute mini to chic high-waisted trousers. Done and done.
THE PASTEL STRIPE
We will be the first to admit – we have a long-standing obsession with stripes. For Spring 2019, our favorite pattern gets a totally chic update with a flirtatious pastel overtone. And we’re 1000% digging it.
